Maxim Tur is a media artist from Berlin with a focus on conceptual work, often moving from a reference to pop culture or internet culture to a philosophical or media-scientific discussion and translating his findings into installations, sculptures, videos, and performances. The formal language of his works results from a back and forth and interweaving of research, medium, and personal experiences.
Since 2019, he has been studying at the University of the Arts Berlin, and since 2021, he has been part of the New Media class (Prof. Jussi Ängeslevä, Prof. Agnes Meyer-Brandis, Prof. Benjamin Maus).
